Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), Quality Assurance Division, has issued a communication enclosing a list of FSSAI-recognised laboratories along with the validity of their NABL accreditation as of June 05, 2026, and contact details. The list is issued for the purpose of analysing food samples taken under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, and the Rules and Regulations made thereunder. The recognition and validity of the listed laboratories shall be governed by guidelines or orders issued by FSSAI from time to time.
The communication has been addressed to all Food Safety Commissioners and all FSSAI Notified Laboratories. The annexed list (Annexure I) covers FSSAI Notified NABL Accredited Food Testing Laboratories having valid NABL accreditation as on June 05, 2026. Annexure II covers laboratories whose NABL accreditation validity has expired and/or are suspended or under denotification process. Laboratories are listed region-wise across Northern, Western, Southern, and Eastern regions. The list includes registration numbers, NABL certificate numbers, NABL-FSSAI integrated assessment status, contact details, names of food analysts, and validity dates for chemical, biological, radiological, and other parameters.
