Notification/Circular No.: 02/2026 dated June 19, 2026
Applicable Act/Rule: Companies Act, 2013; Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules, 2014
Applicable Section/Rule: Section 73 read with Rule 16
Form DPT-3 (Return of Deposits) is required to be filed annually by companies on or before June 30. MCA experienced disruptions due to a fire incident at its Data Centre on June 5, 2026, resulting in capacity enhancement and restoration activities.
Ministry of Corporate Affairs has permitted companies to file Form DPT-3 for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, without payment of additional fees up to July 31, 2026.
Companies that are unable to file Form DPT-3 by the original due date of June 30, 2026, can avail the fee waiver until July 31, 2026. This provides temporary relief from additional filing fees arising due to MCA system-related disruptions.
