Draft rules are published for inviting objections and suggestions within thirty days from the date of publication. The draft proposes insertion of additional conditions relating to CNG Mobile Refuelling Units (MRUs).
The draft introduces operational, safety, inspection, maintenance, emergency response, reporting and record-keeping requirements for CNG MRUs. It specifies ownership, approval, safety distances, dispensing conditions, emergency shutdown systems and restrictions on use of CNG MRUs.
