Bureau of Indian Standards (Department of Consumer Affairs) has notified the establishment of an amendment to one Indian Standard listed in the Schedule annexed to the notification, in pursuance of Sub-rule (1) of Rule 15 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018.
The following amendment has been established:

Amendment No. 1 to IS 1651:2013 is established with effect from June 10, 2026. The standard without Amendment No. 1 shall remain in force until December 9, 2026. Entities and persons governed by IS 1651:2013 are impacted to the extent of Amendment No. 1.
