Central Government, through the Telecommunication Engineering Centre under the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, has notified revised standards for two categories of telecommunication equipment.
The following revised standards have been notified with effect from the date of publication:
1. TEC 67222606 Essential Requirements – Session Border Controller
2. TEC 58432606 Essential Requirements – VHF UHF Radio System Equipment
The existing standards and the above revised standards for essential requirements shall remain in force concurrently for a period of ninety days from the date of publication of the notification. After the expiry of the said ninety-day period, only the revised standards shall be applicable.
