This Circular is issued by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), 6th Floor, Block-3, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. In furtherance of environmental sustainability and with a view to bringing uniformity in the use of paper and printing, it has been decided that all Petitions, Applications, Replies, Rejoinders, Affidavits and other pleadings filed before all Benches of the NCLT shall be printed on both sides of the paper (back-to-back printing), with immediate effect. The Circular is issued with the approval of the Hon’ble President, NCLT, and signed by Utkarsh Yadav, Registrar.

All Petitions, Applications, Replies, Rejoinders, Affidavits and other pleadings filed before all Benches of the NCLT shall be printed on both sides of the paper (duplex/back-to-back printing). Annexures and supporting documents may also be printed on both sides, wherever practicable, provided that the readability of the documents is not affected. Duplex printing shall be carried out ensuring: (i) clear and legible printing on both sides; (ii) proper page alignment; (iii) continuous pagination throughout the compilation; and (iv) easy readability and handling of the records. All Deputy Registrars and Assistant Registrars of the Scrutiny Sections shall ensure that these directions are brought to the notice of the Members of the Bar, litigants and all other stakeholders, and are implemented uniformly across all Benches. The Circular applies to all fresh filings made before the NCLT.
