WDRA – Advisory on Common Mobile Numbers Used by Warehousemen

Notification/Circular No.: F. No. T-COMP/4/2025-Technical dated on Sep 10 2026

Applicable Act/Rule: Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007, and applicable Rules and Regulations

The Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) issued an advisory to warehousemen and their authorised representatives regarding the use of common mobile numbers for registration or empanelment.

Warehousemen and authorised representatives must use unique mobile numbers and disclose any common ownership, control or shared administrative contact details at registration or renewal. Any change in mobile number or inadvertent overlap must be reported immediately to the concerned repository and WDRA. Non-disclosure may be treated as suppression of material facts and may result in suspension or cancellation of registration. Warehousemen have 15 days from the date of the advisory to make the necessary changes.
