The Ministry of Communications (Department of Telecommunications) issued S.O. 5737(E) under rule 12 of the Telecommunications (Regulatory Sandbox) Rules, 2026, notifying the Telecom eServices Portal as the portal for digital implementation of these Rules.
Through this notification, the Central Government designates the Department of Telecommunications’ “Telecom eServices Portal” as the official platform through which digital implementation under the Telecommunications (Regulatory Sandbox) Rules, 2026 will be carried out.
Accordingly, activities and processes that the Rules require to be executed digitally are to be undertaken via the Telecom eServices Portal. The notification does not prescribe additional procedures, timelines, or exemptions beyond this designation.
