The Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) has issued Notification No. 33/2026-Customs (G.S.R. 907(E)) under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, amending Notification No. 30/2026-Customs dated August 21, 2026. The amendment concerns the date specified in paragraph 2 of the earlier notification.
Specifically, in paragraph 2 of Notification No. 30/2026-Customs, the figures and words “31st day of October, 2026” are substituted with the figures and words “31st day of December, 2026”.
The effect of this change is that the date referenced in paragraph 2 of the earlier notification is extended from October 31, 2026 to December 31, 2026. All other provisions of Notification No. 30/2026-Customs remain unchanged.
The earlier notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) as G.S.R. 755(E) dated August 21, 2026. The present amendment carries File No. CBIC-190354/105/2026-TRU.
