The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended Para 1.25(d) of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023 with immediate effect.
For grant of One Star Export House status, other than for the Gems & Jewelry Sector, export performance in any two out of the three preceding financial years shall be sufficient. Other provisions of Para 1.25 of FTP, 2023 continue to apply.
For granting status, an export performance would be necessary in all the three preceding financial years (and in all the two preceding financial years for Gems & Jewelry Sector):
Provided that for grant of One Star Export House status (other than for Gems & Jewelry Sector), export performance in any two out of the three preceding financial years shall be sufficient.
