Central Government has appointed the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) and Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners (Central) across various regional jurisdictions as Appellate Authorities under the Industrial Relations Code, 2020. The notification supersedes Notification No. S.O. 1632(E) dated May 04, 2016, except for actions already taken under the earlier notification.
