The Government of Arunachal Pradesh published draft amendments to the Code on Wages (Arunachal Pradesh) Rules, 2022, inviting objections and suggestions within 30 days of publication in the Official Gazette.
The draft revises definitions, working-hour limits, weekly rest days, overtime, part-day wages, notices, fines, employee nominations, wage claims and appeals. It also provides for electronic filing of returns, maintenance of employee and wage registers, witness summons by the State Advisory Board, and procedures for compounding offences. Revised forms for employee records, nominations, notices and attendance registers are included
