Bureau of Indian Standards, pursuant to sub-rule (1) of Rule 15 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018, notified that an amendment to the Indian Standard specified in the Schedule has been established.
The notification establishes Amendment No. 4 to IS 16444 (Part 1): 2015 — a.c. Static Direct Connected Watthour Smart Meter Class 1 and 2 — Specification. The amendment is designated as Amendment No. 4, August 2026, with the date of establishment as August 17, 2026. The standard without the amendment specified in the notification shall remain in force until February 16, 2027.
