The Chhattisgarh Real Estate Regulatory Authority issued Order No. 26/CGRERA/2026/2723 dated August 11, 2026 in continuation of Order No. 25/CGRERA/2026/2612 dated August 6, 2026.
The Order specifies that the extension benefit applies only to registered real estate projects registered before August 1, 2026, whose original, revised, or previously extended end date falls on or after February 28, 2026. Projects whose registration expired before February 28, 2026 and was not extended or renewed before August 1, 2026 are excluded. Projects registered on or after August 1, 2026, and projects whose registration was extended or renewed on or after August 1, 2026, are also excluded. Other terms and conditions of Order No. 25/CGRERA/2026/2612 remain unchanged.
In continuation of Order No. 25/CGRERA/2026/2612 dated 06.08.2026, it is hereby clarified that the benefit of extension under the said Order shall be available only to such registered real estate projects which were registered before 01.08.2026 and whose original end date, revised end date, or previously extended end date falls on or after 28.02.2026.
It is further clarified that the benefit of the aforesaid suo motu extension shall not be applicable to projects whose registration period had expired prior to 28.02.2026 and which had not been extended or renewed by the Authority before 01.08.2026.
Accordingly, projects registered on or after 01.08.2026, as well as projects whose registration period was extended or renewed by the Authority on or after 01.08.2026, shall be excluded from the benefit of the aforesaid suo motu extension.
All other terms and conditions of Order No. 25/CGRERA/2026/2612 dated 06.08.2026 shall remain unchanged.
