Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 (8 of 2026), appoints June 30, 2027 as the date on which the provisions of the said Act, in so far as they relate to serial number 8 and the entries relating thereto in the Schedule of the said Act relating to the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (23 of 1940), shall come into force. The notification is issued under File No. X.11035/25/2025-DR and signed by Prabhakar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health and Family Welfare
