In pursuance of Sub-rule (5) of Rule 27 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018, the Bureau of Indian Standards notifies that IS 17899 T : 2024 – Assessment of Biodegradability of Plastics in Varied Conditions (Revised) – has lapsed with effect from June 13, 2026.
In pursuance of Sub-rule (1) of Rule 27 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018, the Bureau of Indian Standards notifies that IS 19877T : 2026 – Assessment of Potential Biodegradability of Plastics Under Controlled Laboratory Conditions – has been established as a Provisional Indian Standard with effect from June 11, 2026. No existing standard is withdrawn. The validity period of IS 19877T : 2026 is up to June 11, 2028.
