Applicable Act/Rule: Foreign Trade Policy 2023
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of Commerce, issued a Public Notice notifying seven new Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) under Product Group “A” (Chemical and Allied Products), with SION Serial Numbers A-3708, A-3709, A-3710, A-3711, A-3712, A-3713, and A-3714. The notice was issued in exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, as amended.
Seven new SIONs are notified as follows:
SION A-3708 – Export Product: Theophylline (Anhydrous), Qty: 1 kg. Import Item: Cyano Acetic Acid 70%, Qty allowed: 0.89 kg.
SION A-3709 – Export Product: A-PLAOBES 6 mg./ml. Pen Liraglutide Injection 18 mg./3 ml. (6 mg./ml.) (Each 3 ml. contains Liraglutide 18 mg.), Qty: 1 Number. Import Item: Liraglutide, Qty allowed: 19.8 mg.
SION A-3710 – Export Product: Lumefantrine, Qty: 1 kg. Import Items: (1) 9H FLUORENE – 0.814 kg.; (2) Di N Butylamine – 0.390 kg.; (3) Sodium Borohydride – 0.040 kg.; (4) Para Chloro Benzaldehyde – 0.336 kg.; (5) Di Methyl Formamide – 0.555 kg.
SION A-3711 – Export Product: MEROPENEM 500 mg. Powder for Solution for Injection or Infusion (Each Vial Contains Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Meropenem Trihydrate equivalent to Meropenem Anhydrous 500 mg.), Qty: 1 Number. Import Item: Meropenem and Sodium Carbonate (Sterile Bulk), Qty allowed: 672.6 mg/Vial.
SION A-3712 – Export Product: MEROPENEM 1000 mg. Powder for Solution for Injection or Infusion (Each Vial Contains Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Meropenem Trihydrate equivalent to Meropenem Anhydrous 1000 mg.), Qty: 1 Number. Import Item: Meropenem and Sodium Carbonate (Sterile Bulk), Qty allowed: 1345 mg/Vial.
SION A-3713 – Export Product: MEROPENEM 2 gm Powder for Solution for Injection or Infusion (Each Vial Contains Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Meropenem Trihydrate equivalent to 2000 mg. Meropenem Anhydrous), Qty: 1 Number. Import Item: Meropenem and Sodium Carbonate (Sterile Bulk), Qty allowed: 2690 mg/Vial.
SION A-3714 – Export Product: Ophthalmic Solution (Eyes & Ear Drops), Qty: 1 kg., Content of relevant Bulk Drug. Import Item: Relevant Bulk drug/s, Qty allowed: 1.02 kg. [Note: Content of Bulk drug will be as per Drug Manufacturing Licence (DML).]
These new entries apply to all seven SION numbers listed above. The notice is issued from File No. 01/82/0026/AM-26/DES-III.
