DGMS Notifications on Training Centre Forms under OSH (Central) Rules, 2026

Director General of Mines Safety issued two notifications on July 10, 2026, in the exercise of powers under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026. Both notifications were signed by Ujjwal Tah, Chief Inspector-cum-Facilitator of Mines, also designated as the Director General of Mines Safety.

G.S.R. 625(E): Specifies Forms T(2) and T(3) for issue of Certificate of Training. Form T(2) is the certificate of initial/refresher training for employment in a mine on surface and in opencast workings/belowground degree I/II/III gassy coal/belowground metalliferous/oil mine, issued under Rule 158, Rule 159, or Rule 161. Form T(3) is the certificate of special training for persons employed in coal/metalliferous/oil mines, issued under Rule 162. The forms are applicable to every person who undergoes a course of training and completes it followed by assessment and acceptable performance, under Rules 158, 159, 161 and/or 162.

G.S.R. 626(E): Specifies Form T(1), the Notice of closure/discontinuance of a Vocational Training Centre, as required under Rule 176. The form is applicable for submission of notice of closure/discontinuance and applies to all Vocational Training Centres established and maintained under Rule 163.
