ESIC has reported 1,550 MBBS seats, 559 MD/MS seats, 182 DNB seats, 17 DrNB seats, 31 DM/M.Ch seats and 10 PhD seats through its 17 medical colleges. Two ESIC dental colleges provide 124 seats, two nursing colleges provide 120 B.Sc. Nursing seats and three paramedical colleges provide 292 seats. Three state-run medical colleges additionally provide 330 MBBS seats.

Under the ‘Ward of Insured Persons (IP) Quota’, approximately 880 seats are reserved for children of workers covered under the ESI Scheme across ESIC-operated medical institutions, including around 700 MBBS seats and the remaining seats across BDS, B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical/Allied Health Sciences courses.

ESIC has reported that 4,961 doctors have been contributed through its medical colleges, including 1,682 children of workers covered under the ESI Scheme. At the postgraduate level, more than 1,200 students have passed out. The release also provides college-wise figures for UG students and Ward of IP quota students, with a total of 4,961 UG students and 1,682 Ward of IP students across Joka, Rajajinagar, KK Nagar, Sanathnagar, Faridabad and Gulbarga. The listed PG student strength across the specified colleges is 1,267.
