Government of Rajasthan, Factories and Boilers Inspection Department, has granted a temporary limited extension in the validity of certificates for the following categories of boilers, in pursuance of the recommendations of Government of India conveyed vide letter No. P-30023/5/2026-Boiler dated April 7, 2026.
For boilers in power plants and other higher capacity boilers (100 TPH and above steam generation capacity) whose validity of certificate for use is expiring in the next 6 months from the date of this order, a temporary limited extension is granted for a further period of 3 months, subject to verification of various working parameters and satisfactory external inspection by the Competent Person under the Boilers Act, 2025.
For higher capacity boilers in use in major oil and gas producing units including petroleum refineries, petrochemicals and fertilizers plants, wherever validity of certificate for use is expiring in the next 6 months from the date of this order, a temporary limited extension is granted for a further period of 3 months, subject to necessary safety safeguards, verification of various working parameters and satisfactory external inspection by the Competent Person under the Boilers Act, 2025.
The owner of boilers mentioned in clauses (1) and (2) shall apply online for external inspection for verification of various working parameters and necessary safeguards before expiry of certificate.
