Central Government had notified the n-Butyl Acrylate (Quality Control) Order, 2021 vide S.O. 5438(E) dated 24th December, 2021, under Section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016. The Central Government, in consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards, took cognizance of supply chain disruption prevailing globally and stated it necessary to temporarily suspend the operation of the said Order to ensure availability of n-Butyl Acrylate. The Order was last amended vide notification S.O. 1854(E) dated 10th April, 2026.
In the n-Butyl Acrylate (Quality Control) Order, 2021, in paragraph 2, in the proviso, the following amendment has been made verbatim:
“for the figures, letters and word ’10th July, 2026′, the figures, letters and word ’31st July, 2026′ shall be substituted.”
