Extension of Timeline for Conversion of Batch-Type to Continuous-Type Tyre Pyrolysis Units

Notification/Circular No.: F.16(Gen-47)/RPCB/Haz/290–298 dated July 16, 2026
Applicable Act/Rule: Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board administrative Office Order
Extended Conversion Deadline: September 30, 2026

State Board had earlier issued an Office Order dated August 17, 2023, providing that renewal of Consent to Operate and Authorization for Tyre Pyrolysis units on batch process would be allowed on condition of conversion to continuous process by December 31, 2025. This timeline was subsequently extended to March 31, 2026 (order dated December 30, 2025) and then to June 30, 2026 (order dated March 30, 2026).

In partial modification of the orders dated August 17, 2023, December 30, 2025, and March 30, 2026, the last date for conversion of existing batch-type tyre pyrolysis units into continuous-type units is extended from June 30, 2026 to September 30, 2026. All existing batch-type tyre pyrolysis units are required to obtain Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate from the State Board for a continuous-type tyre pyrolysis plant by that date.
