The notification is issued by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 (8 of 2026).
Central Government appoints the 22nd day of June, 2026 as the date on which the provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, in so far as they relate to amendments in the Apprentices Act, 1961 (52 of 1961), as specified against serial number 29 of the Schedule to the said Act, shall come into force. The notification is issued under F. No. H-11013/15/2025-O/o DS Sankalp & Naps (E-75568) and signed by Niranjan Kumar Sudhanshu, Additional Secretary.
