Revision of Tariff Values for Specified Imported Goods

Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has issued Notification No. 54/2026-Customs (N.T.) amending Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) by substituting Table-1, Table-2 and Table-3 relating to tariff values for specified imported goods.

The notification substitutes the tariff value tables applicable to specified goods including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, gold, silver and areca nuts. The tariff values notified are US$ 1,343 per 10 grams for specified gold imports, US$ 2,092 per kilogram for specified silver imports and US$ 9,155 per metric tonne for areca nuts. The tariff values for crude palm oil, palm oil products, crude soybean oil and brass scrap remain unchanged from the previously notified values.
