Revision of Ceiling Price for Anti-Rabies Immunoglobulin Injection
In implementation of directions issued by the Department of Pharmaceuticals under paragraph 31 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 vide review order No. 31015/02/2025-Pricing dated 27.03.2026, and in supersession of the existing order S.O. 1575(E) dated 25.03.2026 (Sl. No. 58), NPPA has fixed/revised the ceiling price for Anti-rabies Immunoglobulin Injection (300 IU/ml, 1 ml) from Rs. 112.19 (ceiling price under NLEM, 2022) to Rs. 119.48, incorporating WPI impact of 0.64956% for the year 2026, exclusive of Goods and Services Tax as applicable.
Fixation of Retail Prices for New Drug Formulations under Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013
National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), in exercise of powers under paragraphs 5, 11 and 15 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 read with S.O. 1394(E) dated 30.05.2013, S.O. 5249(E) dated 11.11.2022 and S.O. 3516(E) dated 30.06.2026, has fixed the retail price (exclusive of Goods and Services Tax, if any) for 39 formulations/brand names, specifying for each the strength, unit, and name of the manufacturer and marketing company.
