Draft of these Rules was earlier published under sections 133(1), 135(1) and 137 of the Code in the Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary dated 03.02.2026, inviting objections and suggestions within forty-five days. The draft was made available to the public on 03.02.2026, and objections/suggestions received were considered by the State Government.

Government of Telangana issued draft State Rules under the Code on Wages, 2019, the Industrial Relations Code, 2020, the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020, and the Code on Social Security, 2020.

Draft Amendments to Medical Devices Rules, 2017 and Drugs Rules, 1945

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare published two draft amendment notifications dated June 23, 2026, under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, after consultation with the Drugs Technical Advisory Board — one amending the Medical Devices Rules, 2017, the other amending the Drugs Rules, 1945. Objections/suggestions may be sent to the Under Secretary (Drugs), MoHFW, or emailed to drugsdiv-mohfw@gov.in.

Kerala Proposes Revised Minimum Wages for Shops,Commercial Establishments,Hotels and Related Sectors

Labour and Skills (E) Department, Government of Kerala, published this notification proposing revised minimum rates of wages, in supersession of the notification issued under G.O.(P) No. 196/2016/LBR dated December 21, 2016 (S.R.O. No. 785/2016). The proposal covers employees in Shops, Commercial Establishments, Hotels, Canteens, and Restaurants (Schedule I), and employees in Courier Services, D.T.P. Centres, Internet Cafes, Telephone Booths, Catering Services, and House Boat Service (Schedule II).

Minimum Wages Revised for Bakery and 29 Scheduled Employments in West Bengal

Labour Commissionerate, Government of West Bengal, issued a circular stating the minimum rates of wages for employees in 30 Scheduled Employments in the State, including Bakery, Bell Metal and Brass Industry, Ceramic Industry, Hotels and Restaurants, Sweeping and Cleaning, Tailoring Industry, and others.
