Exemption of Shops&Commercial Establishments from Weekly Rest&Working Hours Provision in Rajasthan
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958, and in supersession of notification No. F.14(11)(1) Shram/Vidhi/2017/4863577 dated April 15, 2024, the State Government exempts shops and commercial establishments registered under the said Act from the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 11 and sub-section (1) of section 12 of the said Act, with immediate effect, subject to the following conditions

Extension of Last Date for Submission of Annual Return in Assam under Trade Unions Act, 1926
Office of the Labour Commissioner, Assam has issued a notice stating that the last date for submission of the Annual Return under the Trade Unions Act, 1926 for the year ending 2025 has been extended to June 30, 2026, from the earlier date of April 30, 2026.
Commencement of Provisions Relating to Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940
Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 (8 of 2026), appoints June 30, 2027 as the date on which the provisions of the said Act, in so far as they relate to serial number 8 and the entries relating thereto in the Schedule of the said Act relating to the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (23 of 1940), shall come into force.
